Waxing Certificate Curriculum

The Waxing Certificate Course is designed to advance your career in Aesthetics, Spa Therapy, or other related beauty career. This certificate is an attractive add-on for a potential client or employer. To begin a new career in Aesthetics or Spa Therapy, take a look at the Advanced Aesthetics Diploma or Para-Medical Skin Care & Laser Technician Diploma.

Get ready to learn through equal parts theory and hands-on training! You will learn multiple waxing hair removal techniques for both male and female clients, on a variety of skin and hair types. Throughout the course, you will get opportunities to practice on real clients under the instructor’s supervision in our very own school spa.

Please note that this course does not include Brazilian Waxing, which is a separate certificate. This waxing certificate will cover legs, arms, chest, back, and face.

Waxing Career Path

Waxing is a commonly known and practiced hair removal procedure. Many clients will prefer your expert knowledge and gentle touch to achieve smooth, hairless, skin. The wax product will bond and harden to the hairs in the application area. It is then removed along with the hair, effectively removing hair directly from its root. Treatment is more effective than shaving and can last 3 to 5 weeks.

This certificate will serve as an attractive add-on for anyone looking to advance their career in Aesthetics, Spa Therapy, or the Beauty industry.
