What are the minimum admissions requirements for National Institute?
Earning a Diploma in Advanced Makeup In order to enrol, you need a high school diploma or its equivalent. Proficiency in English is also required. If you are an international student, then English proficiency test scores will be required. You need to be 18 years of age and over. For program specific prerequisites, Call us at 905-463-2006.

What should I bring to Admissions Office for my meeting?
Bring your driver’s licence or other photo ID, Social Insurance number, and your high school/ other certificates.
Is there any entrance test?
If you have a college diploma or a university degree, then you do not need to write an entrance test. However if you do not have the aforementioned, then you need to write the CAST exam to ascertain your Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) equivalency.

Can I enrol if I live outside Canada?
Yes. You may join National Institute upon approval and receipt of study permit from Immigration Canada. You can also join our Distant Learning program for a certificate course.
Will previously earned credits or experience transferred to National Institute?
Yes. If you have previously earned credits or experience then you may be considered as an ‘advanced standing’ student. This may qualify you for reduction in course hours and fees. Check with our Admissions Office for more details.
Can I consult someone for financing?
Yes. During your initial consultation, the School Director familiarizes you with the fee structure and payment alternatives. Our payment plans are very flexible. You can get more details on financial assistance and payment plans at your consultation.

Yes. National Institute is a Registered Private Career College under the Private Career Colleges Act 2005. It is approved by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
